RobWasHere
I don't like this new visual effect on Nukor, looks like bubble gun. Problem is, you can't properly show VFX of gun that shoots invisible stream of waves. If this effect need to stay, tweak it a little adding more transparency and remove that ring that have thinckest border, I think it will look better. Metalarcher
"Problem is, you can't properly show VFX of gun that shoots invisible stream of waves." Why not show nothing then? Might be kinda neat, eh? No one but you really needs to know you're shooting anyway, and you've got the crosshairs for that... It certainly would be unique, if nothing else! (alternatively, a slight distortion affect might be cool, something that refracts the light in the air and makes images behind it "wobble" like when you can see hot air messing with light on the road during a hot day, or, as some games show, the air behind the engine of a spacecraft)
Agullimux
Maybe weapon has been before tested for visual stuff. Shooting those bubbles/rings are non harmfull material that is usually invisible gas but radiation/ waves overheat making atoms split and make it visible due to energy freeing ? Then someone tested what happens when we use more power and he accidentally cooked grineer head.

The distortion effect would be very hard to see in a frantic firefight. This could be changed if we change the way the weapon work though, by making it a hitscan weapon with perfect accuracy, with a lot of visual effect on hit like enemy sparkled due to microwave and steam up under heat generated by the electricity. That way we eliminate projectile animation and still get the visual confirmation of hit.
