Sifu
Do you know how else they could solve that part of the problem? Mastery requirement on Prime stuff. If you need Mastery 8 to build and use a Prime frame, you have to get the regular counterpart and a few others first to get to that point. They could make an exception for Prime Access and it won't hurt their sales, maybe even boost them slightly. That was discussed alot too. We really need MR requirements for Primes. DE agrees on that. SableSonata
Simply put - It'll screw with the economy. Trading prices are player set right now. A prime example would be the diablo 3 auction (hehe. Prime example...) While i'd like to see an auction house i believe it'd be too complicated for the devs to monitor transactions. Also , think of it this way. New player comes in. Doesn't have to look or actually play the game to acquire rare parts or mods. *flips open wallet* annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd were done. Isn't that DE's business model already? Continually add new content and bring in fresh players who don't know that buying Skana for 150 platinum is a massive ripoff, and so is almost every other price DE sets. And with the constant drop table dilution, DE is purposefully inflating prices as time goes on. Used to be 10-15 plat for a prime item was pretty expensive; now rare parts commonly go for 30-40 plat, months after release. If the system doesn't change somehow, by this time next year, it will literally be cheaper to buy prime access than to buy the parts from other players. Which really works out for DE. And if a player can get all of the purchasable content, and they no longer want to play the game as a result, then it's honestly not a good game to begin with. You sure overreact, but I see your point. First of all - learn to bargain. In current market its the only way to get items cheap, if you dont bargain, you will be ripped off. Its life, no one said there are ponies and rainbows outside.
