Are exposure points permanent? I am a bit hesitant to join in this event because I don't want to permanently mess with my favorite warframe.

Your warframes are only affected when they are in an ongoing event mission, and stay normal everywhere else.

They are as permanent as Argon in your inventory.

I think your warframe stays weakened until the event ends. I played my loki prime at a random level, but my shield was still extremely low. hopefully its not permanent.

Doesn't loki just have low shields to begin with?

Never had this issue.  Any non-event mission gives me normal stats, and the Earth and Phobos ones only lower my stats by the maximum number of points you can earn in those missions before unlocking a new one.  I think only Ceres can make you totally screwed over with those tiny tiny absorb bubbles and snow globes and one second invisibility, or one meter rip cord.

Same here, I find it that the weakening is only during the event.
