Hi. Hope i can help.
From my experience and after read some nvidia forum about the newly released driver, i found out that the 344.11 driver is the reason of the fps drop. i suggest you downgrade the driver to the previous one.

btw here is the link for 344.11 driver

I've had the same problem with a desktop PC of the same design as OP's.

At first I thought my drops were related to upgrading from a 1366x768 TV to a full HD 1920x1080 monitor, but even after buying a new graphics card I still get drops here or there. Used to be able to maintain a constant 60fps before update 14 or so until that nuked it.

Ok, im not planning to repeat myself over and over,
if you are someone who wants to help, i want you to do things,
Read the whole post (Date, First Post, the answers... EVERYHTHING!)
i appreciate every answer, but just see if it is of use here,

@ Letir, update 14.6 was on 10Sept, my problem happened a while later (21sept)
Also, it was because the nvidia crash, not the update.

I appreciate you for answering, i just want anyone to read the post before saying things what wasnt the problem, or else this is getting annoying...

i'm actually leaning towards hardware fault due to that crash, it may have been prompted by a hardware fault.

i know that's not what you want to hear. but since everything else has been reinstalled (including the original driver that was functional previous to all this mess) in the absence of any other commonality...

is the system still under warranty?

Yes it is, but you remember i benchmarked it right? also i playing Dark Souls 2 atm, game works like a (Rage) Dream :D

So, im quite confident it isnt my hardware ;)

a benchmark doesn't really mean all that much, but if you're able to run dark souls 2, i'd imagine the hardware is okay.

in this case, it's probably a good idea to follow up with that support ticket, might even contact nvidia.

they may be a problem with that driver / hardware and warframe.
