Mods/credits/alloy Plate Etc Not Being Added After Aborting Mission

Okay, dafuq is going on. I've restarted my game twice already. Everytime I farmkill Jackal and thn abort the game, everything I found ISN'T added to my account. Is this an bug or is this an change? ..

You were quitting missions and not playing them, now you're quitting the game and not playing it.

I don't really see the difference there...

You're just quitting on a larger scale now.

Also typically when you say "I'm not one to complain." you don't follow it up with a complaint.

Anywho, on topic here I kinda see both sides of the argument, but I honestly think it's a stupid argument. So you can't quit your missions and get all the materials you collected. But... So what? On the way back from completing that mission it's pretty likely that you'll get just as many materials on the way back than you did on the way in.Unless of course you're doing something stupid like farming a material on the lowest possible mission from a boss, meaning you only get one drop per run. Which is just stupid really...
