anti_tank
Is any boy having or had any problems with physx? Some times the particles run smoothly, but a lot of the time they freeze in mid air, stay there for a while then disappear. Tried looking this up on Google but I found nothing. Drunkenbagel
This happens to me on occasion but it never really bothered me very much(not a very graphics discriminating gamer).
Letter13
Try updating your PhysX software from Nvidia's website. Also update your GPU drivers for safe measure.
ZoMbi656
Yes, i have problem with PhysX too, i keep it turned off, because i have not only weird physx effects somtemes, but more game crashes, if this option is on. Edit: updating drivers, PhysX System Software and PhysX Legacy does not solve the problem (for me), but in other games with physx effects and fully physx support i don't have any problems with graphics, performance and stability. EronAltair
I have been wondering about this same thing. Random PhysX particle freezes. I don't experience it in other games, although I don't play many that use PhysX instead of Havok. I have an NVidia 560, and all the monitoring software indicates it is handling things fine. What I haven't tried yet is to force the system to process PhysX on the CPU instead of the GPU. Since PhysX is an NVidia product, it doesn't seem that doing so would improve things, but I have not tried it. I kind of find it odd that it gives me the option at all.
