Impossible To Execute Ground Slam

Reproduce:  Use a melee weapon, jump without pressing a direction, and press E.  You will do the new gliding animation and attack instead of doing a ground slam.

 

This kinda ruins weapons that rely on finishers, since the ground slam was often the best way to knock enemies prone.

I'd like to point out, however, that this doesn't work for all weapons.

 

Missing slam attacks with certain grips?

So far, it's seemingly impossible to do a slam attack with Scoliac (and probably the other whips), Sheev (and other daggers most likely) and the Kronen. Yes, I tried to aim down while meleeing already.

I tried both holding and looking down, however I was using a whip.
