Nihillian
Heya, I have had this problem since today, even though I have played quite a while now. When I enter a match my fan seems to stop cooling and let my cpu get high temp. When I end the match it immediatly starts cooling it down again. This has never happend and seems weird to me that when it is most needed that it doesn't cool down my pc :/ Has anyone have this? If so, does anyone know how to fix this? It might be a problem with my fan control settings though I hardly see how it can prevent my fans from cooling.
Master_Marmot_Prime
Why make 2 topics? https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/33987-pc-fan-not-working-while-in-a-match/
BoogieMan82
It's likely something on your computer. Other software or settings when the game is running. Do you have any "helpfull" programs helping the client?
GrandMasterV
Fan is not connected to the warframe program it can't be it. Make sure your fan is set to auto.
Nihillian
I use razer game booster so that the processes that I don't need won't run. Though it was never causing any fan issues. As for the double topics: I made that one on the wrong page, and made this one later on (as it seemed more fitting). Forgot to delete the thread, thanks for reminding! :P I am now trying to start WF without game booster, see how it goes. EDIT: Found the problem, I... set the minimum processing (something) at 100% making only cool down enough when processors were acting high. Thus not cooling down all the time. Thanks for the help anyways folks. Edited April 24, 2013 by DLGrave
