Syndicate Rank Up Reward

Given that players are given a free reward when they rank up, has anyone tried demoting themselves and ranking up to see if you still get a free reward? The answer is probably no, but still need confirmation on this.

Also I hope medallions come out soon for those with max syndicates, and I hope we get awesome new rewards for these medallions...

Tested, you have to pay the sacrifice again, BUT you wont get another free item

Some people in Council chat tried it as well. They said it didn't work either.
