(Sphere made of hexagons would spiral around as it floats in the energy sheathe)

So, obviously, this is a VERY rough sketch (I'm no artist). But, the idea I had was for a weapon that mixes several different elements from various styles. The slow, heavy hitting of axes/hammers, the more fluid motions of polearms/staffs and a degree of ranged capability from throwing weapons and the new gunblade. Combos could include a mix of the Slashing Wind behind the neck swing from the Shimmering Blight stance that then merges into the Broken Bull spin from Cleaving Whirldwind.

As for the ranged attacks, the sphere can detach from the staff, fired much like one would a bazooka or RPG (using one of the handles near the top of the staff). Once it either hits an object or goes a certain distance, the hexagonal panels explode outward from the energy filled core, hitting enemies like shrapnel before being drawn back into place and returned to the staff. This could also lead to a combo where the sphere is launched and lodges into the ground, acting as an anchor to draw the player toward it. This leads to a front flip and slam with the momentum of flying to the sphere, the panels again detaching and exploding outward. Wish I could draw and show the ideas for the combos >.>

Basically Prism on a stick.

If you call a weapon graviton, make it control gravity. Fling those pesky grineer up to the sky.

Team Grineer loseees agaaaaaaiiiiiinnn!!

It's called Graviton because the heavy mace head is attached through non-physical means. It acts in NO way like Prism. It also draws the player toward the mace head after it's launched, much like gravity would.
