So I was farming missions to see where I could get these new materials for the event, and I ended up getting two just by killing some enemies during a capture mission. I don't think it's the mission specifically, but the fact that any mob will drop it. I'm going to try excavation to see if I can farm a bunch of them.

 

 

 

EDIT: Yes, any enemy will drop it. I suggest doing a mission with lots of enemies for farming.

it will only drop on the planet that has a formation over it, so any mission in the planet

To add some important details so Tenno know exactly how this functions:

 

-Isotopes can only be obtained in missions on any planet that currently has a formorian over it

-Isotopes are dropped by enemies. They are identical in appearance to component drops .

I got 18 by the time I was done with an excavation run, alongside some T1 keys and a bit of rare mods
