TheHourMan
I have had the archwing since day one, and I find something about it lacking. It just doesn't feel like I'm flying around in outer space in the missions. It feels too restricted and constrained to our understanding of gravity still. I can look up until it stops and vice versa, which is not something you can really do in space. I think that when we aren't bound to the ground, we shouldnt be bound to "up and down" any more. From what I have heard, DE said that they didn't want to include full axis control in the Archwing because we would get confused. That's understandable... if they were thinking of the newbies who haven't gotten the hang of it yet... I think many aspects in warframe need that hardcore edge of having complete control of your character. I mean come on, if 12 year olds in battlefied can do it in jets, I'm pretty sure we can do it in space. Really guys. Please DE, please dont hold my hand. I want a hardcore experience, and adding bullet sponge enemies that one-shot you is not a legitimate challenge. Maneuvering through obstacles and enemies with full 360 degree control however, what a rush that would be!Please vote here on what you think it should be: http://goo.gl/T9JlbX
Katakuna
I still support the idea of having a toggle, to switch between free movement and restrained.
Astrotrap
So much this. Just, infinite this. It would probably make gameplay LESS disorienting, as long as enemies and terrain aren't all "right-side up". Also, if you MUST have a down, at least put the planet below us. That just makes more sense, and is much less arbitrary.
TheHourMan
I never even thought of that! I included an option for "Other" where you can vote for that too, but that is a great idea.

yangskiii
I still support the idea of having a toggle, to switch between free movement and restrained. I'd go with this suggestion.
Imaru
I 100% agree with this. Having played Space Engineers having 100% freedom of movement as you described is really key to an "authentic" space experience.
TheHourMan
So yeah, looking at the results, I would say the majority wants the freedom, but there is a percentage who don't. A toggle would be very nice for this.
Revenshee
The clear up and down has been the most disorientating part about Archwing for me, I really hope that they do address this. I love Archwing, and I do understand their concerns for no clear up and down being too much; however, most other games that have characters in space do not have a clear up or down, resulting in their attempt to make it more approachable actually hindering some people's expected experience. Due to the amount of people that do like the clear up and down most likely being higher than even the poll, a toggle does seem to be the best option. +
Vanadium
Definitely would like a toggle. I'm already a fan of the "zoom-shooting while space sliding" mechanic, so... Moar plz, DE. More unrestricted movement.
(PSN)Serdile
This was the first issue I noticed when using the archwing for the first time. Please allow a toggle
BloodRhythm
I don't feel this is a needed feature. Archwing is not trying to be authentic space sim flyer. DE themselves said that it's supposed to feel and play similar as the normal on foot missions. I think the arcade way fits this game better. TheHourMan
Well, whether or not that was the intent, I think it's clear which the players would have more fun with.
Genzaio
I remember playing deadspace and you could fly around, and there would be a button to orientate yourself upright on the correct axis if you got confused when flying around in space. Its possible
(PSN)SteampunkJester
I voted yes. we should have full freedom movement. I still support the idea of having a toggle, to switch between free movement and restrained. ^this, also.
(XBOX)Strange Destiny
While I'd like full freedom of movement, I believe there should be someway to return orientation to "normal" so that the 2D map makes sense.

TheHourMan
Well a 3d map would be pretty badass too in space
DarkBabylon
Totally support this. This was most of my fun in Dead Space 3 until I hit Terra Nova. being upside down relative to the station was the best thing. Although making some people nauseous, best if we had this as togglable option.
TheErebus.
Yes of course, full movement would make Archwings so much more fun.
