How To Motivate The Players To Save The Relays

So there litteraly is no reason whatsoever to keep the relays not even one?

 

To be honest, DE didn't give us enough time/reasons to get attached to the relays and they didn't support them with lore that would make us feel like they matter. Relays were added and then relays got blown up. We're just watching it all happen because it doesn't feel like it has anything to do with us, even though it should.

 

I hope the team spends some time thinking about what this outcome really means, because this was not a case of the community simply making a choice. This was a case of the community not caring about something, and that is simply terrible. This needs to be understood so that it can be avoided in the future.

DE started this and it's on them to somehow put things back together.

 

I can't imagine that their intent was to wipe out all the relays - here's hoping that the total destruction of all of them will be a wake up call to DE that this event left a lot to be desired.

 

Don't get me wrong, the mission was pretty epic. But after a while it became a chore and if I never have to blow up another fomorian core it'll be too soon.

Its ok if i think that all relays should be destroyed so no one can get the void trader anymore and so nobody wins at this stupid S#&$?

The people who stocked up on Primed mods the past two appearances will be the winners. The plat will flow like the Nile.

Dignity & Honor in a sack is still only worth the sack.

That said, they just made it too dull to do, and relays don't have character to them, one is no different than another, and I can't blame others not wanting to gamble their entertainment and the possibility DE will do something that will improve the game via relays.

However from all the feedback floating around, From Tenno fight pits & casinos, to the combining of archwing & regular gameplay in boarding parties to defend space stations, to people howling at how ridiculous the requirements just to participate in these missions for little to no reward in a mode that's still fairly anemic in terms of content.

All and all relay doom or not, DE has succeeded in that regard, now we have to see if they can apply that feedback and prevent the same mistakes from happening in future events.
