Nekros Build

Question

Can somebody help me with my new Nekros, I wanted specific builds, such as a Desecrate build.

Also I need help with the colours of my Nekros :) I don't have the Immortal Skin and I'm not too keen on spending 40p on it, but can someone help me choose some nice attractive (or eye-catching) colour schemes to my Nekros?

Greetings Lonewulfe. You can mirror my build for all out desecrating fun!

Obviously , you can substitute the prime mods for the normal counterparts.

My build is very similar to this one, except depending on what we are fighting.

I will swap out streamline for handspring for more survivability.

OR

I will swap out streamline for soul survivor for rezzing downed friends.

I have two Desecrate builds, actually.

One looks like this, but with Stretch over Overextended (so my other powers aren't completely worthless), Rage over Streamline, and Quick Thinking over Redirection. If you're low on energy, just walk into some bullets, and regain energy both when you lose health, and when you gain it back! (via Desecrate's red orbs)

For my second one, I wanted to use Soul Survivor. It ended up requiring a radical restructuring.

Soul Survivor uses all energy -> use Despoil so Desecrate doesn't need energy

Most important power no longer uses energy -> Flow and Equilibrium are no longer necessary; remove them

No Flow -> Quick Thinking is useless; remove it

No Quick Thinking -> use Redirection for survivability

Redirection -> Rage is much less useful; remove it

Really the only mod that's essential in all Desecrate builds is Natural Talent.

use a dark red and black color scheme for nekros, as for the build:

redirection, vitality, streamline R4, fleeting expertise R4, overextended, stretch, natural talent, flow

I think this build needs 2-3 forma though, but u don't need to max the defense mods really

Pure Desecrate (seriously, make a macro to press 3 for you):

R4 FE and R4 Streamline for efficiency cap

Natural Talent for the casting speed

Stretch and OE for maximum range

3x defensive mods of choice

However I've been having more fun with Nekros using despoil and equilibrium to provide massive amounts of energy for abilities. I still dislike using SotD so I use option #1 below which makes it very short, and use SotD just to quick distract and/or force health orb spawn.

Despoil Team Support Desecrate:

R4 FE and Despoil so Desecrate costs 1 health orb

Natural Talent for Casting speed

Stretch for acceptable range

Equilibrium for infinite energy for abilities (doesn't even need to be maxxed)

3x wildcards

Wildcards:

#1: Strength and -duration to force health orb spawn from shadows and use Terrify more often

#2: +Duration and a bit of strength to keep shadows active easier

#3: Soul Survivor and defensive mods to keep you and the team up

This makes Nekros so much more than just a lootbot. The first option will end up spawning massive amounts of health orbs; it's not quite like Trinity healing but more like having an Oberon, but keeps working at higher levels; The second option keeps shadows up which works as enemy distractions, similar to having Chaos or rad procs active over a smaller area; and the final option keeps the team up and going at level ranges where an accidental death of a CC or healer frame can mean a wipe.
