This is a free-to-play game and DE has to make their money somewhere. So rather than lock portions of their game behind paywalls, all of the items that require platinum are either shortcuts or cosmetics, with the sole exception of weapon and frame slots. I'm just saying that it's stupid there's no way of earning ANY currency to be able to do some customization of your character. You can't even change the color without buying Platinum.
