Kubrow Attacks: Are They Still Slow And Maybe Less Ineffective?

I remember that a Kubrow would take a certain stance before attacking, charge, and then return to it's position. Does it still do that? If so, does it make it worst at dealing dmg compared to, oh say, a Sweeper of a Carrier?

As far as i know, the Prime Laser Rifle from the Wrym Prime is the highest damaging companion in the game. However, the kubrows don't do outstanding damage unless they have the Bite mod. The Raksa and Sunika don't need the Bite mod because of what they need to do and what they do.

 

I wish there was a mod i could put on my sahasa kubrow that forces it to not attack anything except to DIG. Unless i'm bleeding out.... you pay alot for maintaining the kubrow and then you would need a rare mod that only drops from a kubrow and if you wanted to get rid of the kubrow you have to pay 25k.... just go with sentinal lol....
