KynaTiona Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Good to know this bug is still around! A while back I accidentally assigned my left-click to "Open Chat Menu". Opening chat menus now overrides my normal ability to left-click on menu options. It is literally impossible to change my controls without left-clicking. I can get to most of the menus with either the keyboard or a controller, but neither of those actually let me change options. In fact, trying to exit the controls menu gives me an error saying I don't have Toggle Crouch assigned. Except I can't change it. Meaning I have to shut the game down manually. Attempting to uninstall Warframe did nothing. Just now I finally hunted down where Warframe was storing its local data and deleted it entirely, which reverted all my controls and allowed me to play the game again. Funny enough, I just got a 50% off coupon when I logged in today. There's a fairly good chance I'm not actually going to use it, because I expect to put this game down again in short order. Coatduck Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Pretty sure you can remedy that by going into appdata/local/warframe and renaming anything that is either a .cfg or a long string of letters/numbers by putting an _ in front of them.
