As far as disconnections go, if you could send me logs from a session when this happened, ideally both from the host and client who disconnnected, I could verify and make sure it's not us at fault. If anything, my recent changes should make connection a little bit more stable, but there might be some bugs still lurking.

Made a ticket with ID 300788.

 

Both log files included - the host and the client who disconnected from the host's game session (Host Migration).

Another thing I noticed - In order to work from home, I have a VPN network setup. If this is enabled, I have strict nat issue, because it seems like the game tries to work through that connection (!?!?!?!). When I turn it off, everything goes back to normal. Maybe this helps for someone.

We have. It's a great algorithm, but again - more suitable for bigger chunks of data. I make sure to keep track of what Yann's doing, though, tried his latest creation as well (zstd).

 

Just checked this new lib zstd from Yann, I have to say the benchmarks are very promising, found this url http://mattmahoney.net/dc/text.html that may be useful
