Electric Shield provides a consistant cover along with insane bonuses : +200% critical damage, +50% damage as electric damage, no falloff for shotguns/Brakk, extended rang for continous trigger weapons, and your shield does not have health like Snowglobe has. In addition, the +50% damage bonus stacks with the number of shields your weapons goes through, and shooting through the shield while in the rift makes you able to shoot all kind of enemies, even if they are not in the rift yet. Speed allows you to reach life support capsules and downed allies much faster, and will increase the DPS of melee focused allies (Loki, Ash, Valkyr). Shock is still and extremely versatile ability with a very good innate range that can stun efficiently. Furthermore, Shock Trooper augment allows you to give +125% electric damage bonus to your allies, also counting for abilities allowing you to give even more deadliness to your allies.
