Wyatt - Tanky Heavy Gunner Warframe

This guy is exactly what he says on the tin - A frame with abilities centered around his guns.

Appearance - His arms and legs will be bulky (you'll see why in a moment). The legs in particular will flare out a little at the bottom, like, well, Flare trousers, and vaguely resemble the HILBERT legs from Armored Core 4, but not as bulky. His right eye is covered by a targeting reticule, and his whole helmet is shaped somewhat like frost's, with a ridge along the middle.

Stats - He would carry two Y polarity slots, or one Y and one D, alongside the usual four ability slots. His health, shields and armor will be average or slightly above average (but not Frost or Rhino-level), but his mobility is somewhat slower than the average.

Abilities - Focuses around his guns. They're pretty powerful, but have their drawbacks to prevent them being too powerful. make changes where needed to suit balance. These are in no order.

1. DISCHARGE

Wyatt fires off his whole magazine in one, near-perfectly accurate shot. This will expend his whole magazine, and damage is (Individual bullet damage*bullets currently in magazine) - 33% of the total. The paris has it different - It instead shoots five arrows in one go, following a similar formula to above. Shotguns have it different, too: It shoots all of the magazine like normal, but there is no accuracy bonus, and spread out like normal, and there are -33% pellets fired off. We don't want the Hek to replace the snipetron Vulkar(again), do we? Focus increases the power of the shot, Stretch increases it's range, and Continuity has no effect.

2. FOCUS

Wyatt sinks his feet into the ground(Which is why they're bulky), and his weapons have significantly reduced recoil, increased accuracy and has a fair chance to not flinch when hit by attacks that normally do so. Knockdown still applies, however, and your speed is reduced while it's in effect. Not by much though, it's only reduced to the speed that you travel while aiming.

(Note: can be cancelled partway through by pressing the ability key again)

I should also note that Wyatt becomes really, REALLY stompy while this is active. He could have lower pitch MOA footstep sounds for the duration. Focus increases the bonuses, Continuity increases duration, Stretch has no effect.

3. QUAD ARMS

Two holographic arms extend from Wyatt's back, and are holding a holographic replica of his current weapon. That's right, with this ability, you can dual wield the gorgon. While active, this ability carries the pluses and minuses that the dual weapons have compared to the single: Double fire rate, but lowered accuracy and longer reload time, but it has a different bonus over magazine size: it shoots twice the shots in one trigger pull without expending extra ammo. If needed, the holographic version will do around half damage. Stretch does not affect this mod. Focus increases the power of the extra weapon(s). Continuity extends the duration.

4. BARRAGE

Wyatt kneels down, and a flurry of homing missiles launch from his back, which, well, home in on targets. The missiles, however, are not fired all at once - up to a maximum of 6 missiles( can be upgraded to 12 or 10) are fired, one by one, at a rate of two per second. These missiles are omnidirectional and have a small AOE to them, but I stress small, at most catching two crewmen in one blast. You aren't completely immune to damage during the firing process, so have someone back you up (or even better, tell your friendly neighborhood Volt to slap a shield in front of you). Continuity increases the missiles fired, Stretch increases their range, and Focus increases their damage.

ALTERNATE 4: KATACLYSM (see what I did there?)

Remember Ash's ult? Think that, but with guns.

Wyatt will warp around the battlefield into groups of enemies, firing at enemies with his handgun(Bonus points for akimbo), swiftly taking them down. Wyatt is completely immune to damage while performing this ability, as half of Gun Kata is dodging bullets (somehow). Most mods affect this as you expect, but focus adds a little extra damage on top.

To sum up: A slower warframe that can dish out lots of pain, but rather than all of his abilities be mildly powerful and pretty simple to use without drawbacks, Wyatt offers some pretty powerful abilities, but can be tricky to use, and have a few drawbacks. If it seems overpowered, a few stats and functions could be tweaked to suit balance.

ALT HELMETS:

CLINTON - Increases Shield capacity at the cost of Sprint speed. Has a more rounded, bullet like design with a flat spike on the front.

VERMILLION - Increases power strength at the cost of health. Has a Military Beret look to it.

Disable wallrunning/sliding/sliding attacks/jumping during Focus since the ability is cancellable?

The suggested stats are that of standard Warframes, but with armour being that of Saryn(100) and sprint speed of Rhino(0.7)

Alternate 'Guardian' helmet that increases shield capacity + 15% OR armour + 15% at the cost of reduced sprint speed(0.6)?

That sounds good too.

Go with +15% armor at the cost of sprint speed, but call it Clinton instead of guardian.

Yes I couldn't think of a name anyway, and it's your name so your decision =)

If Barrage should not grant damage immunity, it should at least prevent knockdowns and staggering ^^

Quad Arms shouldn't be burning extra ammo, or it wouldn't be a very fun ability to use with many weapons anymore DX

Huh, looks like this thread got moved.

I originally put it in feedback rather than the Fan zone, as this board seemed to be for mostly fanart (like most of the fanframes, let's call them, are), and there was no art to speak of here, so.. yeah.

Barrage DOES prevent knockdown and staggering, and quad arms does not spend extra ammo. Lemmie rework that stat.

Reworked: Weapons gain guaranteed double multishot.
