So for E3, it seems that Microsoft will unveil a lot of interesting info about the Xbone. With the marketing executive hyping up what's to come instead of giving specifics as well as hyping up the upcoming HoloLense. What they'll reveal is not made aware, however, they will be going first in E3 so Sony will need to step up their game if MS delivers the promises that they are stating.

In other news (one that is more pertaining to the PC side of gaming), Diablo 3 will be getting microstransactions as well as other things. The following is what will be added into the game:

·      A new currency called "Platinum"

·      Timed experience boosts

·      New cosmetic items including wings, non-combat pets, and character portraits

·      References to stash space and character slot expansions

·      A new UI element that references the above information

These features however, will not be present in the Americas for the following reason:

"While we may explore this model in some regions, we have no immediate plans to implement such purchases anytime soon for the Americas region."

You can find out more about this here: http://www.pcgamer.com/microtransactions-may-be-coming-to-diablo-3-in-non-american-regions/

Thanks for reading, and what do you guys think of this?

No microtransactions in the Americas isn't surprising. Different regions do better with different business models -- micotransactions are huge in Asia, for example.

It's just them doing business is all.

The new game coming out Overwatch is a MOBA isn't it? Welp, that's another Blizzard game I ain't goin' for.

Nah, it's more like TF2. Heroes of the Storm is the MOBA, and it's in closed beta. Overwatch isn't even at alpha yet.

To update, everything I've been able to find on my own about the Diablo 3 changes really is just for the Asian market.

Gotcha, will update the OP.

Business is gonna get boomin' for Blizzard it seems, although quite frankly, this wont make me play D3 any time soon.

Still waiting for Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void.
