Currently this add-one has 7 smells: Ocean, Jungle, Fire, Grass, Powder, Flowers, and Metal. There's also some news on the Morpheus, which is the VR headset speaheaded by sony themselves. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps4-boss-talks-morpheus-vr-pricing-teases-e3-game-/1100-6425796/ Alright now who here wants to play HL2 with a VR headset?Everyone right? I mean it's amazing, become the freeman. Well you can now doubt that ever happening: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/valve-we-d-love-to-bring-half-life-to-vr-but-it-mi/1100-6425785/

PerryTPlaty
Wouldn't that mean the headset has a storage of chemicals specifically used for smells? That's just adding to the cost... Nice add-on though.

True, but after the flop of Kinect, I am very cautious and judgmental on the Hololens. I can't wait to be able to smell the rich aroma of sewage and mass graves in virtual reality, one day. Play Outlast with the smell add-on. Guts and blood everywhere. Edited March 11, 2015 by ScrublordPrime

Katakuna
Play Outlast with the smell add-on. Guts and blood everywhere. Yeah, or every zombie game in existence; especially the ones with melee combat. Gettin' a nice face-full of rotting flesh multiplied by infinity. Or even games like Left 4 Dead and KF, with zombies that vomit. Good times.
Renegade343
Fire smells like burning hair. Which is the smell of the smoke coming out when burning hair, not the fire.

You are not wrong and I agree with you, tho I mean one can hope to one day put on a VR headset and be the controller. When that day hits, hook me up to life support I am going away for a long time hahaha
egregiousRac
Still a cheap gimmick, MS always try to revolutionize gaming by taking away the controller and say "This is the future of gaming" when in reality, it isn't. I am honestly really hoping that the Hololens gets support from major 3D modeling devs. I would love to have four view-ports on my screen and have my perspective view in the air next to me. It sounds stupid and gimmicky for gaming, but awesome for actually useful stuff.

Y'know, the company that made the Xbox One more TV oriented than game oriented (in the beginning).
