Nitresco Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Dead bodies can spawn on missions with the "combusting" modifier. They can be looted, hence why it gave you an "X" prompt. As for why it was a "Corrupted" Crewman/Lancer, I'm not sure. Could be a bug. Or maybe you mistook a regular Crewman/Lancer corpse for one. If so, it's just a random environmental thing that happens, suggesting the Corpus and Grineer just fought a battle. The Grineer aren't corrupted, they're just butchers without armor.
