Strange Statuette In Grineer Shipyard

So, I was doing my syndicate exterminate mission on Ceres, when, while climbing that tall room just next to the spawn, I see something strange on the way upward.

At about mid-height, on some grineer machinery, I find this grey statuette, with a purple hollow, that looks like bit like the Aurora Helmet for Frost. I tried to get as near as possible, but I ended up just above it and unable to take it. (no interaction available, whatever position I take).

 

Any idea on what it might be ?

(I know, the picture is not as precise as I wanted it to be).

Note that the figurine is the grey thing just below my feet.

Orokin Kittens. They are sort of an easter egg, hidden around maps.

That's an Orokitty, those are scattered about various tiles as an easter egg of sorts.

Orokitty statue. There are a bunch of em hidden around the star chart iirc. Im surprised there are people that still don't know em.

I had read about them loooong ago, indeed, but never came across one, so I forgot.
I also paused the game for a while, and today, for the first time, I saw one, and I wondered.

 

That's why.
Because, indeed, i've been playing since the begining of open beta :)
