Burufokkusu
Is upgrading abilities worth it? Does it improve the power, range, or duration of any of the abilites or is that all left up to the other mods like focus, reach, and the other one that I can't remember? xxx7
It's definitely worth it, at least for the powers you use a lot. To see what and how upgrading will affect your power, hover over the power mod and a tooltip-box will tell ya =)
Quazar123
Upgrading abilities mods does do things what it does specifically is determined by what the mod is. if you look in the wiki you will find alot of information in regaurds to mods and upgrading them, but be warned the wiki can be inacurate at times or just not have the most recent informmation. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/mods

Rydian
Some abilities don'tg gain anything from upgrades yet, but most do. Point at the ability and it'll tell you if the upgrade riases the damage, reach, duration, etc.
ZaxNyu
It's really not that hard to find the Warframe Wiki... It's the second result with Google if you search for "Warframe", right behind/under the official Warframe website.
dukarriope
It seems all, if not almost all, the abilities don't benefit from being upgraded one level (besides sucking up an extra modpoint). But offensive abilities usually get enhanced range and damage, while utilities last longer. It's worthwhile to upgrade abilities if you ask most of us. Just upgrade the right ones... escape123
Upgrading can only be useful.
smithf
Upgrading is useful if you actually use that ability. Otherwise, I may not even equip the ability. When hovering selection of the ability mod, you will get a tooltip saying what it improves. Most of the descriptions are correct, so you can use that to help you decide whether to upgrade or not. Also, since abilities are usually placed in "scratch" polarity, upgrades are usually done by 2 levels (it increases overall mod capacity usage by only 1). To help with possible fitting mods to the max capacity, it may be useful to keep separate levels of the ability mod (assuming most (all?) ability mods goes to level 3 max, keep 1 level-0, 1 level-2 and 1 level-3 (if base cost is 2, the costs will be 2/4/5 which when halved will be 1/2/3 respectively). Additional copies of the ability mod can be sold/fused to other ability mods)
Ceraldus
Yes to what? Yes to both, the nonspecific skill mods stack with the stats and upgraded stats of skills. Its possible to triple the range and damage with some skills this way. Sorry for the rather pointless response earlier, I had just woken up and wasn't thinking clearly. :P
