Corpus Population.

Seems like Corpus dont have any "superior cloning equipment". Coz Alad need Tenno to steal this exactly from Grineer. I mean he is pretty scientific dude who build robots...I doubt he wouldnt know how to clone/heal if it was available to them.

 

So yeah. Cloning = Grineer.  Robots = Corpus.    Still think there are too many boxheads around.

Corpus gave grineer "defective" cloning equipment. (The grineer don't know this and assume dna degeneration is normal from cloning.)

While corpus know how to clone perfectly. The trade was to ensure grineer don't wipe out/war against corpus and they have a treaty so corpus keeps territory.

Grineer don't even know how to make energy weapons, where do you think they got a damn cloning machine?

 

Grineer cloning equipment seems to be Grineer-designed, as seen by the most recent tileset. Either that or it's derived from Orokin cloning tech. We don't know where they got it.

 

The Corpus don't seem to be able to clone. It's mentioned in passing that they have indoctrination temples, which would be a bit pointless for clones who apparently come pre-indoctrinated here. Also, Darvo has a dad and the Anti MOA lore also references the speaker's father, which implies biological familial relations.

 

And finally, the Grineer can totally build energy weapons. Nukor, Kohm, Kohmak, and now Atomos.
