Excalibur Prime + Continuity Or Reach Mod On Slash Dash. Any Difference ?

Continuity would increase the range of slash dash, and NOT reach.

Continuity (max) increases slash dash roughly 5-6 m

Focus (max) increases it roughly 4-5m

Focus also improves damage of all Excal's skills

Continuity effects nothing but slash dash... meaning you spend 5-9 points (maxed) for 5-6 extra meters on slash dash only.

Continuity also adds a little bit to Super Jump, no massive but enough to reach some ledges.

Just think of Slash Dash as a spell that propels you forward while causing damage.

 

Continuity increases duration.

This makes the spell longer. This means you go further.

 

Focus increases power.

This makes the damage bigger.

 

Reach increases radius.

By right, it should increase the AOE of the line but I don't think it works that way.

 

Anyway, considering the Prime has 2 V-slots, it's obvious the developers want you to put in Continuity and Focus to boost the Slash Dash.

I never tried it without my continuity mod yet.

From my testing, Continuity doesn't seem to affect Radial Blind, but Reach does (increases the range a good bit).
