Description:

Created using a combination of the Infested and Orokin, This great weapon combines the flesh of Corrupted Ancients and Toxic Ancients. This weapon inspired the Grineer to create the Brakk

The SAK is a small shotgun sidearm that is most powerful at short and medium range. It's innate ability to poison enemies and spread disease efficiently can take out opponents easily. It's secondary fire will send out a harpoon-like appendage to grab any non-boss enemy, and drag them over to where you are, causing an instant status proc and a stun, opening them up for a closer attack

So, essentially, we could give Ancients and Scorpions a taste of their own medicine? Because I am so down for that.

It would need to have range worse than embolist to be considered "balanced", and then again it would melt every enemy at point blank range.

 

So, lemme recap this thing...

250 damage of various types split over 12 pellets, at 8 rounds per second, with 10 round mag with 1.5s reload and 20%/x2 crits...

That's about 1091DPS base sustained DPS, and about 2400 burst? By default.

 

And I thought that Visceral was bad at balancing their game.

So yeah, that's all I wanted to mention, weapon balance. Of a concept.

 

You'd have to divide it's damage by a factor of 4 or 5 to make it balanced, and then again it would have really high burst and somewhat acceptable sustain.

The name and the description are making me envision this as looking like one of those weird sponge-like mushrooms that shoots needles from the holes, and if it does do the spike grapple thing it would rupture from the tip and retract afterward.
