Next time I'll cook and buy a new Warframe instead. Platinum is rather good value. If only others could see this. The shoes i could have bought were those nice air ones that cushion as you walk. They were £150. I took the difference and bought platinum and have been having a great time ever since. I used to spend a minimum of £30-£40 a month on games so i think Warframe is great value. I can play free and also get something shiny once in a while with my platinum. Also nice to support a brilliant games company. Was just what i was looking for. No AAA title i bought in the last 5 years has lasted me more than a day or so. Diablo 3 being the only excepetion. I'd be more inclined to purchase more platinum if the developers stopped letting the desire to increase platinum sales lead to poor game design decisions. If you cook instead you can save money and use that saving somewhere else. I chose Platinum. Clothes and shoes are only needed in the civilized world due to legal reasons. I would go naked if i could and buy more Platinum. You would only need Platinum for sentinel skins and avatars. You can play the game and receive everything else for free. As for things that make you feel good. You can compare these things, always. Ie: i was going to get an escort around this weekend. £130 for an hour. I saved the money instead and bought £130 of Platinum. I bought loads of Warframes and weapons and some sentinel skins. I'm still using these bought items 5 days later. I was glad i made this decision. I really enjoy Warframe and would like to maximize my enjoyment of the game. I spend 12 hours a day gaming. 6 hours on my sofa watching TV and 6 hours sleeping in bed. I would buy a cheap bed and buy Platinum with the saving as this would make more sense per hour of the day i would benefit from it. I also have a huge surround sofa. I would sleep on this for a month and buy more games or in game cool stuff. Your bed argument is flawed in regards to me. fair enough, good beds can be expensive, but so can good sofas, and most people would rather sleep on a bed. (12 hours gaming, 6 sleeping, 6 watching TV, 0 for work (12 + 6 + 6 = 24), so I'm done (mostly), as we can't convince each other, so we'll have to agree to disagree, and probably argue again in another thread is my guess (or here a little more). Hell, if we want to go further into the "lasted me X years" thing, we can bring up miniature wargaming. For $100, I can buy a full force in Infinity that will last me decades. Ok, league of legends then, I can spend $30 and get 5 of the top costing champs, I can get more if I decide to get ones that don't cost quite so much obv, that's a MUCH better deal. If you can sell something worth $25 to 1 person but something worth $10 to 3 people and that thing is free to produce, you make way more money in the latter case. There is a pretty significant reason that outside of Monoclegate nobody has tried pricing "microtransactions" along the CCP model. Sure, they might nickle and dime you to death in 'pay2win' games, but the transactions themselves are still micro. You can 'tell' them anything you like. Become a mini euro pornstar (mostly in Belgum) during the 90's. My initial invest in the 80's came good in the early 2000's so i have been secure ever since. I don't kill or maim people anymore or put my mans thing into places it shouldn't be while cameras are rolling. I am comfortable and like to support people who make good games.
