HAYABU5A Posted August 16, 2015 Share Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) so its finally out and it was alright considering what they had to work with how did everyone like it ? the japanese titans were extra creepy lol lots of munching on ppl to be had as expected (giant japanese baby titan is epic) the movie has problems though like everyone being japanese is weird since it goes against the storyline and the movie deviates alot from the animation story and characters they might have had a small budget (?) so that might explain alot, so dont let the trailer hype deceive u if your a fan of the anime/manga u might be disappointed with the live action, its basically the opposite of the rurouni kenshin live action in terms of being true - the music bad, dont expect scores like in the animation - story jumps alot and changes most things - mikasa is casted badly and her story is really different (bad) - eren and other characters have some pretty bad acting - there is a random made up ahole character that represents levi - they randomly have advanced technology like armored trucks, electrical lights, modern weapons etc erens transformation is pretty legit in godzilla style Edited August 16, 2015 by HAYABU5A Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AlphaSierraMike Posted August 16, 2015 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Saw the trailer, the 3DMG stuff looks kinda... odd. Apparently there are RPGs in this movie... Why are they even using 3DMGs at this point when they can just blow the nap out? With cannonballs it's understandable because it's a bluntass projectile and the flesh can absorb all the energy before hitting the content of the nap (no spoilers for people who haven't read the manga), but damn, RPGs can just punch a hole in the nap and sprays molten metal on impact, if the explosion didn't do the job. Why was the RPG invented before tanks, when it's designed as an anti tank weapon? And if tank does exist, why are they still wasting time with 3DMGs again?
