Anku & Spearmint Scythe Skin

It's currently impossible to use the spearmint scythe skin on the Anku; will there be any changes to that any time soon?

there was only 3 spearmint scythe skins in bundle. maybe next year we get one for Anku

Note that each scythe at the time (Reaper Prime, Hate, Ether Reaper) had to have their own individual skin created for compatibility purposes, so in reality, it's not one skin applying to three different weapons, but three identical skins for three different weapons. The changes they had to make for prime weapons to be able to use weapon skins from other weapons was an extensive project, and was not a thing they had back then.

 

If they ever plan to add Anku to the list, it would happen next Christmas.

Um.... Primes could use skins back then, they just couldn't use texture skins properly because their model was different.

Their coding is just a copy paste of the old weapon, then with values tweaked, and new code shoved in to turn it into parts to build it.

There's nothing stopping DE from allowing, or giving all players who have the Spearmint Scythe skins, a version that is compatible with the Anku, but they haven't done it (though it is not in any way a priority), however, this christmas will likely see it gain a skin, and the spearmint scythes returning.
