Can we please have some new ideas implemented while using our melee weapons

as of today where the game stands it is far better to use your primary or secondary weapons compared to your melee

Reasons

 

1. Not many super awesome mods to make melee top primary and secondary weapons

2. A little difficult to hit target with melee (to less range)

3. Make you stand in a very dangerous spot while u melee as you cant take cover from the incoming fire, you just have to face tank it or something.

4. Different combos are very hard to attain in a high level mob fight due to weird combo combination, rather should be something very easy.

 

Solution:

 

 Give all melee a passive ability on combo achieving (e.g if u maintain a combo for more then 5 secs you start regen health, attain a combo of 20 you start adding % of armor on your frame which would stay with you for during that mission << this will also help people in very high tier missions where u face enemies over level 100 and would make WF more fun.

 

Execution: taking down a high priority target without losing any health give you a chance to finish off that enemy with execution, a special combo which will apply on the last hit to that enemy RESULTING in giving you a temporary damage boost/buff

 

Channeling: Make a new bar for channeling and let it not use energy, so that mods that DE made for channeling can actually be used for once . AS of now i dont think anyone even uses those mods.

 

Add Utility mod slot for Melee weapons where u can slot Prime reach/ Fury / Parry mods

As of today where the game stands it's far more fun to use your melee weapon compared to your primary/secondary. That's a reason enough to use melee, isn't it? Then it has life steal and whatnot.
