Monsterwithin
Oh, I thought it was the in-game Phobos who's going to be destroyed.... Wait, 30-50 million years before it hits mars? Lol. Well that was a waste of worries. Edited November 11, 2015 by Monsterwithin

Robin-da-Reaper
Well, doesn´t seem to be too urgent though, as they say it has millions of years left until it happens.

noveltyhero
Wait, that would cause a massive impact. . .what happens to us, if Mar's goes booms? No, as stated in the article, the moon is already has fissures across it. The varying gravitational pulls from different parts of the planet as it gets closer and closer to Mars means that it cannot keep its integrity, as if it is being stretched. Article already states this but the moon is likely not to reach the actual planet before it gets ripped apart. Kind of how it would happen to you as a you move towards a black hole. Even if it would affect the Earth in any way, we'd be long dead.
