Mr.ToastForPresident Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 So the first part of the long awaited Digimon Adventure tri came out on the 21st, so check it out in your closest anime watching site if you want. This is part one of a 6 part series, showing 4 episodes each. Next part should be airing around March of next year. If you did watch it, what did you think? I personally found it to be good. It isn't the worst thing, nor is it going to surpass One Punch Man for best show of this season, but it is an above average grade. They added a slice of life element into the mix because the characters are grown up Toy Story 3 style and live different lives, so be wary of that. Like, gad damn, it was pretty uncalled for and token when they got angry at each other, and then they resolve that same disagreement within 20 minutes with a sensual stare down and arms over each other's shoulder. Taichi's character development's kinda nice though, growing up, power and responsibility etc., kinda wished they didn't use the same 3 bloody images of the collapsed walkway, ruined sidewalk, and the broken flip phone whenever he's having one of his guilt trips. At least change the bloody order. Still a pretty big nostalgic trip.
