What Happens If I Miss A Sortie?

Is my opportunity to do it gone forever? Or is there a way to do the ones that I missed?

Nope, You have to complete all 3 within the allotted time to receive anything. Pass that time, and everything is reset with new missions. So yes, you missed it.

The way that a sortie works is that it has a seasonal reward pool that rotates every 15 days. Completion of a set of sorties rewards the player with 1 of the 15 items in that season's pool, and highlights the reward you recieved in the sortie UI. Once the daily reset rolls around, you simply do it again for another reward from the same pool with a chance of getting a repeat reward.

 

So to answer your question, missing a sortie isn't a big deal, as you are only missing only 1 of 15 chances at a season's reward.

err ... where u get the information  that each season is 15 day? or it's just the number of reward? 

 

In case u count the number of reward, then i think u wrong, cuz the list dont include Greater Lens (yes, it's in the pool too), and a lot of people report that they can get the same reward after multiple sortie

Sortie Missions

Sortie Missions are now available for all Tenno Mastery Rank 4 or higher!

• Sortie Missions are difficult endgame Missions for experienced Tenno that can be completed alone or with a group.
• Each Sortie Mission will have its own unique requirements or enemy modifiers, favoring Tenno that have a versatile arsenal.
• Players can access Sortie Missions through the Sortie Icon through the upper right hand corner of the World State Window in Navigation.
• Sortie Missions will change daily, and players must complete all three connected Missions to receive a reward from that Season’s pool.
• Each Sortie Season will last for a period of 15 days before cycling in a new Season with an updated loot table.
• Players can review the rewards for the current Season in the World State Window.
• Please note: Sorties must be played in order and all three missions must be completed to receive a reward!

 

If you missed a day, that day is gone. But getting a reward doesn't remove it from the rotation. So you're not missing the chance to get everything, you're just missing a chance to roll for one of the rewards.

 

It's looking like the system will be heavily dependent on trading.
