0 (PSN)theelix
You must've not been here for all those dank nerfs that took place. Any weapon specific syndicate mod has no effect on Exalted blade. Glaive mods don't effect wave travel speed. Covert Lethality doesn't work on Exalted Blade. 0 Urlan
Unfortunately to moves like Exalted Blade, Hysteria, and now Primal Fury; the ability treats the syndicate mod as and empty mod slot as far as powering the ability weapon. This includes all effects of the mod.
0 Acos
The logic behind these nerfs adjustments was that the mods were intended to increase the power of weaker weapons so that they could be on par with higher tier equipment. Then Prisma Skana was like "whatevs dude" and used the mod anyway, and then Exalted Blade came out and people were using Prisma Skana or Jaw Sword exclusively and several people felt like they were being forced into a specific melee weapon on Excalibur. The downside is that now Syndicate Mods are absolutely a bad choice on Excalibur because you have a mod that does absolutely nothing for it, where as every other melee mod adds something. Upside is that Excalibur gets use out of every other melee weapon. Sacrifice a few for many. It wasn't the most elegant solution, and many pointed this out, but this is what they went with. Also, the game makes absolutely no mention of this anywhere, and the only way to figure out how Exalted Blade functions is to use the wikia. But then, that's true for most of the mechanical aspects of Warframe. The player manual is just on some other website.
