Steam Version Questions

Hey, are the steam version and non steam version linked? Can I download the steam version and still use my current account and if so if I'm on steam can I play with my friends that use the non steam pc version. Also will they see skins that I download or only if they have steam, thanks.

I don't see why not for any of these questions. PC version is PC, non steam or steam.

The only difference between non-Steam and Steam is that the Steam version has access to the Workshop store. Otherwise, they are identical.

 

Any workshop items purchased can then be used outside of Steam.

Warframe is divided by platform, with 3 current categories.

PC, Xbox one, PS4.

 

if you're on one of those platforms, and playing Warframe on it, that's it.
