Yes, it works natively. I have used an xbox 360, xbox one, and steam controller. All work beautifully.

Yep its working. Some things tend to bug so ill say select planet node with the mouse because sometimes its not working except for that its working perfectly.

 

You can customize too ^.^

Playstation Controllers won't work. Can't speak for the PS4 Controller though.

If you have a PS3 controller there are 3rd party resources you can use.

Make sure it's plugged in before you load up the game.

Xbox One or Xbox 360 Controller should work as soona s you plug it in, just make sure its plugged in and on before launching the game.

 

Steam controller is still a bit iffy, i have yet to get it to work in the Dojo.

Controller does work, though if you're playing the game 'pure' you face some issues navigating menus other than mission selection as it'll need a mouse to resolve things. This is fixed by setting up to play through Steam Big Picture however it does leave you with less binding options to customise the schema used.

It should work with warframe if your controller supports XInput.

 

For example Logitech F710 works directly if you hit the switch to XInput on the bottom:

 

With DirectInput you need to use 3rd party software to emulate XInput. If you wonder what XInput is here's a quote from wiki: "XInput is an API that allows applications to receive input from the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows."

I'm using a generic 360 controller I got at walmart. Works really well. I don't bother with menus with it though, I use my mouse. I also use my mouse for Corpus hacking. Grineer is way easy with a controller.
