Flibbertigibbety
It appears that melee attacks are activated upon melee button press, and holding the button down will start the charge after the first swing. So, why not activate the charge immediately upon button press, and activate a swing upon button release, immediately canceling the charge attack? I can understand wanting to activate a melee attack on button press to make the attack activate as quickly as possible, but activating on release would add a barely noticeable delay to the regular swing. That way, you tap the button, and you melee (when you let go), and if you hold it, you finish your charge attack. The real issue I'd see is having to cancel a charge attack every single time someone clicks the button (as it activates on press). Perhaps add a very short delay before activating a charge attack, so nothing gets canceled, and the release would occur before the charge is even activated. LoopStricken
Because it makes normal melee more unresponsive.
