Fog On Earth?

Hello everyone!

I'm back to the game after a pretty long absence, and while I've been playing for a week or so, only today did I come upon an odd occurence.

 

I was playing a mission on Earth, and it seemed that there was a dense fog, limiting my vision.

 

...I loved it *-*

It was really atmospheric and added a different factor of difficulty.

 

 

Is this a random occurence on some tilesets, or is it tied to specific missions? Or, even worse, was it just a bug?

I think it's event related, they do this sometimes. :)

It would be nice to have fog more often. And if it helped with stealth, I would be even happier.

Seeing how they try to show this 'mode' more and more often it might actually come for some missions.

Random environmental effects could add a lot to the atmosphere.

 

Rain, fog, snow or sandstorms or anything else applicable in any tileset would be amazing *-*

I don't mind limited visibility (Enemy Sense FTW), but I certainly would appreciate it if "fog" missions

didn't automatically turn on depth of field or whatever, lowering my already meager performance, with no way to turn it back off.
