We Need A New Event. One That Lets People Defect, And Lets Us Hunt Them Down.

Natah is just a Sentient parading around in a shell that remotely resembles the one whom the Tenno called "mother". Believing her lies of caring about us only draws the blind closer to her grasp before she chokes the life from our frames and drains the last of our humanity and sanity from the minds of the Tenno. Margulis is love and love died long ago!

But on the serious side, it would be interesting to split an event like this into two versions. The PvP side would have players who chose to leave be hunted by the ones that stayed while Pve has the players choose a side and we hunt down / fight AI Tenno. Both version (PvP and PvE ) and their respective sides (Loyal to Lotus and Ronin) sides offer the same set of items per Tier with each tier getting unlocked for every frame you drop and capture. The only difference is that the Lotus weapons come with the Lotus color scheme and skin, while the Ronin have an inverted version. If you complete the event, your final gift (besides a badge / sigil) is the alternate side color scheme.

As for any lasting ramifications, the Ronin would get missions from another NPC who has a shape shifting form of mobs till DE would decide to put money into making an actual NPC for the job. The Voice for the NPC would be Microsoft Sam like or just random phrases and noises from the mobs and every gift they give us would "fall off the back of a truck" or they could be a rival support unit that just didn't like Natah.

But since Stalker hunts down the Tenno for a living, couldn't the reverse be true as well? Lotus and Stalker PvP teams hunting each other?

this is the kind of S#&$ attitude that keeps the PVP in the game from growing and getting polished.

No, PvP being shoehorned in because too many people whined hard enough is what "keeps PvP in th game from growing and getting polished"

Warframe was built, and designed, as a PvE game.

When I helped FOUND the game, we were explicitly TOLD that the game was PvE ONLY and would STAY that way

PvP shouldn't exist in this game in the FIRST place

I'm simply saying keep your crappy PvP content OUT of the PvE content. NEVER force PvP on players that don't want it.

It's unenjoyable, it's broken, it's NOT. FUN.

Seriously. they had to equalise out EVERY frame's stats just to give it any semblance of fairness, making your loadout options basically what skin you want. that's not a well-built PvP system, because the game wasn't BUILT for PvP. KEEP. IT. AWAY.

I'm sick and tired of all these calls for more PvP. Warframe is a PvE game, it's centered around it. you want PvP, go play Titanfall or something that's actually y'know, BUILT for it. stop trying to break a perfectly good game just because you're addicted to that crappy gamemode

Important thing to note. Warframe was built for PvE, while it has a PvP area the game has drawn such a large audience because it's one of the ONLY MMOs in the market that caters to PvE. Warframe already has a high entry curb for new players yet despite that players still flock to the game. Adding in a forced PvP and forcing it on the normally PvE content will just drive away new players. In addition given that this game is one of the only ones out there that caters to Co-Op PvE experiences and a vast majority of its players ARE PvE focused and came here because not only was it a good game but because it's one of the only havens for such play will likely end up LEAVING because of the forced PvP. If that happens the amount of money that comes from players goes down, the number of players IN the game goes down and all of you PvP loving people suddenly have a dramatically smaller target group.

Warframe has succeeded because it FOCUSED on either PvE or PvP. Most MMOs fail because they try too hard to deliver both.

Leave Warframe to the PvE.

Go elsewhere if you need your PvP fix. Do not drag the game down to being another broken PvP MMO ghost town.

Having said that, an event that does allow for a new player faction would be interesting for STORY game play. Since unless you set it up to be sided with the Sentient they would not actually be at odds and could still run the Co-Op they'd just split on story content or play the same stories from a different view point.

No thanks. Warframe isn't dark souls, built from the ground up with PVP balance in mind. Why would I want my PVE experience ruined by someone exploiting an already easily exploitable juggle-thon going on as far as balance is concerned with PVP? It also couldn't happen anyway because PVE mods are different from PVP. For example

Go in for a PVE mission with a weapon that's complete trash in PVE both because of the different mods it is only allowed to use and or horrid stats that make a godly PVE weapon pretty meh in PVP.

Wow, some peeps be salty. OP, this has already been discussed in the PvP feedback section iirc. Everyone agreed that it was a cool idea, but everyone also agreed that no one should have to play PvP if they don't want to/hate it with a burning passion.

While it would be sweet, there's too many PvP doomsayers (and I say, more power to them, if you don't like PvP, cool. Just don't try to remove it. It's there, DE's working on it, albeit kinda slowly.) for it to ever work out.

Also, I feel like some of the hate for PvP is kinda unwarranted, since it's not required in any way.

(If you want the PvP mods because you're a mega-completionist, there's always trade and stuff)
