As a fast paced action shooter most of the firing is done from the hip. The only advantage of aiming in Warframe is focusing the camera past your shoulder, while it slows you down to a crawl. It's almost suicidal to be aiming in end game unless you have a clear area around you. So unless you're being sneaky or just going for range, there is no need to be aiming. Yet now we have all these mods that require us to aim for a bonus. I could see how these would be an advantage on weapons like bows and snipers except they only can use catalyzer link which requires an ability cast and only increases status chance. Animation distracting while aiming: We already have so much going on with the muzzle flash, projectiles, and sparks flying every where. A blue ribbon encircling us (+noise) may be a nice indicator but it's very distracting when aiming. It's not a slow encircling but flashes every time the mod activates, which happens on every hit for some mods. Would be better is weapon gained subtle aura or different muzzle flash when bonus is active...Or even altered firing sound. Because now initial "flash" is too bright and loud, and there is no "duration aura" so you cant really tell if effect is still on without looking at hud. Also, "flash" triggers even when effect is already ON. So if you do chain of headshots its quite disturbing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
