Best Elemental For Corrupted?

Hey, so if I were to use a mainly slash based weapon and aimed to go for a long time in t4 def / survival, which is the best elemental? I know Corrosive is best if you don't have CP, but when their armor is reduced by 4 CPs, is corrosive still necessary?

corrosive becomes useless when CPs are stacked, then u use slash+viral+heat.... this combo wrecks all flesh types

Viral + Electric can be viable on some elemental weapons. Nice for an Amprex on a x4 Corrosive Projection run. 

 

And yeah what ^ said. It's not exactly about modding for it specifically, but on some weapons like the one I mentioned, it can be a really good option.

Non CP - Corrosive + cold (shields)

CP - Viral + heat.
