0 Rydian
If you have a lens installed on your frame and/or or weapon, kills made with the frame and/or weapon powers will automatically contribute a certain percentage of the affinity as focus points. 0 motorfirebox
If you have a lens installed, a small percent of the affinity you earn with the item/frame it's installed on is converted to focus points with every kill.
0 Katinka
If you have a rank 30 item and put a lens on it any affinity gained for that item will be converted to Focus. The lens determines the percentage converted and the school it goes towards. Kills with weapons give 50% affinity to the weapon and 50% to the frame. Frame power kills give 100% to the frame. Standard lenses convert 5% into Focus while Greater lenses convert 7%. So, if you have a standard lens on your frame and a Greater lens on a sword and get a melee kill on an enemy worth 1000 Affinity you will get 1000x50%x5%=25 Focus from the frame and 1000x50%x7%=35 Focus from the weapon. 0 (PSN)slayerserenity
Thanks. I thought all the affinity points would convert toward the focus.
