How To Obtain Auras?

I haven't come across any aura mods yet. The wiki says they can be obtained from alerts. Is it a random drop in alerts or the reward attached upon completion, like blueprints alert rewards? Any tips or newbie help in obtaining aura mods would be apprieciated.

It's the attachment to an alert, might take a while to get the aura you want/need.

Community is pretty nice though, I'm sure someone will give you one if you ask around.

Keep in mind there are smartphone apps that notify you when certain item is on alerts :) You can also check http://deathsnacks.com/wf to view current alerts when you are not logged in the game

Aura acquisition is not perfect, but then again, so is getting Vauban parts.

If waiting for months on end for that Corrosive Projection or Steel Charge is not your thing, try trading - like all mods, auras are tradeable and since most traders hoard them, they don't cost THAT much.

 

If all else fails, you could also ask around (nicely!) in your clan chat, provided you have a clan - maybe someone has a spare they don't need.

Alerts. I have every aura in the game but that took me a year to do that. But most aura alert missions are extremely easy even for solo play,
