How Do Combo Multipliers Work ?

To put it bluntly, you hit things and the multiplier increases as you keep hitting things, mean you do more damage to the things you're hitting. Without Blood rush, the combo multiplier also resets completely after a hilariously short 3 seconds, while with it it lasts for a rather substantial 15 seconds or so.

You're talking about Body Count. Blood Rush increases critical chance every time combo counter increases. So 1.5x damage gives +160% crit, 2.0x damage plus another 160% and so on.
 
So if your base crit is 15%, you have 15% + 15*1.6 with every tick.

Oh whoops, my mistake (I always get the names of those two mods mixed up). Anyway yeah, that just about covers how Blood Rush works in conjunction with the combo multiplier.

So, just to clear this up as it's been kicking around in my head - even though Blood Rush is 165%, since the lowest combo multiplier is 1.5, the lowest effective bonus you'll ever get from Blood Rush is 247.5% right?

The lowest would be 0%. But yeah, when it starts to work, you get 1.5 * 165%.
