Melee: Orthos Prime by a huge margin:

Vaykor weapons are sold by the Steel Meridian syndicate, and compared to prime weapons like the Boltor/Soma Prime, I think the Prime weapons come out on top... I think. They're both really good though.

They vaykor hek in my opinion atleast is a crap ton better than the boltor and soma including their prime variants

In damage output yes, because the Prime variant has more damage, but the Telos has more clip capacity and the syndicate effect.

 

In my opinion, they come about even.

I would try to get the telos variant but you need to be mr 12 to get it.

I would try to get the telos variant but you need to be mr 12 to get it.

Yeah, and the Boltor Prime as a MR2 requirement, which they will fix in the weapon re-balances.

If you can get all the parts, I would say that the Boltor Prime is easier to get. And I would get it soon, because it's going to be vaulted along with Rhino Prime and the Ankyros Prime.

 

And Telos is just the pronoun the Arbiters of Hexis use on their weaponry.

Mathematically, the Soma is better than the Boltor P, and it is easier to use.

 

The Lex Prime is also stronger than the Vasto P (Based on what I'm looking at the Vasto P could really do with a buff), however if you like the Vasto it can be fun to use.

 

I have no idea how to work out the dps of a melee weapon since the attack speed stat is rather meaningless.

 

I'll leave with what I always say to these threads, it doesn't matter what the best weapon is, use whatever you think is fun.
