0 Autongnosis
Yep, Duration affects EB's energy drain per second and the slide-blind's duration. For reference, the formula to calculate energy drain on toggled abilities (like EB) is: Actual drain = base drain * (1 - efficiency bonus) / (total duration) So for instance if you have 150% Efficiency you need 200% or more Duration to get minimum drain. If you have 175% efficiency (r4 Fleeting and r4 Streamline) you need 100% or more Duration. If you have 190% (maxed Fleeting and Streamline, beware that the arsenal doesn't show values above 175%) you need 40% or more Duration :) EDIT: you can actually check whether something affects an ability or not through the Arsenal. Mod your frame, then go back to your loadout and select the Abilities tab of your frame, and click "Show value with mods" (bottom right corner). You can play around with the mods and check what changes in that screen every time :) It's also useful for finetuning builds :) Edited February 16, 2016 by Autongnosis
0 Capetoider
To simply put: Duration Mods make the "one second" be longer, thus reducing the cost of channeled abilities (that have costs per second). If the second, say, is 1.3 seconds, the drain would spread trough 1.3 seconds and 1 actual second would cost less.
