Glaive Changes, or is it just me?

Ever since those updates to glaive weapons a few months ago, namely the one that shortened the time required to throw a thrown weapon, my Tenno has been throwing it not overhanded, stretching his right arm right, but instead curls his right arm towards his chest and uncurls it underhand. This whole dynamic has really thrown off my aim and has made my once beloved glaive unplayable, not to mention that sometimes when it returns after throwing, it injures me, taking all my shields and a chunk of my health with it.

Am I doing something wrong here? I didn't change stances or anything, or are we dealing with a legitimate change and a potential bug (the friendly fire)?

Let me explain.

By attacking once, you swing your Glaive from right to left and throw from the left. By doing another attack you swing from left to right and throw it from the right.

To throw like before: Tap E once and then hold.

it's because the charge attack is a followup to the first quick attack, which goes from right to left. So if you want the glaive to be thrown from the right side, you'll have to lead with 2 attacks instead of one

i'm a Glaive user in Conclave and sometimes i throw it to my enemies [ofc it kill em]

I think everything feels ok
