SatelliteStrike
So I guess in the end I keep returning to this guy. I like his Exalted Blade a lot. But I don't seem to do as much damage/kill stuff as fast as people on youtube do. I have decent Nikana Prime, and this is the build I run with http://warframe-builder.com/Warframes/Builder/Excalibur/t_30_0403020020_2-1-8-3-8-5-5-2-5-6-4-5-7-3-5-14-0-5-16-9-5-19-6-7-411-5-8-524-7-3_14-9-2-5-5-9-7-5-6-11-411-7-19-11-524-9-3-18-16-11_0/en/1-0-5 Is it my builds fault? Basically I need 4/5 waves do kill a orokin bombard (level 30-35) but I see people taking him down in 1 or 2 blows. Is something wrong with me or maybe I need something else? 0 Acebaur
@Coaa I tend to use CP against Grineer and Void for the reasons Voidforged stated and SC against Corpus(since they have no armor) @Voidforged The way duration and efficiency combine is kind of weird. Even though you end up with a negative duration the extra efficiency still makes up for it. Now there is a threshold, if you were at say 40 or 50% duration then it would balloon your EB cost but at 75-100 Fleeting makes up for it. Both the Warframe Builder and the ingame abilities tab show that adding Fleeting halves your EB cost. Also keep Streamline at R5 even though you can't have more than 75% I think the negative duration drops it below that cap and the exrra % from Streamline knocks it down a bit. 0 ThorienKELL
OP, half of info /builds revealed in this thread is wrong or just inexperienced. You can try to discover the good half, or .... just use this build; This is heavy duty, battle proven version. i have few more but this one is easiest to make: Excalibur, 3 forma, RageSteam screenshot link, excal Edited March 22, 2016 by ThorienKELL
0 Voidforged
Just now, ThorienKELL said: OP, half of info /builds revealed in this thread is wrong or just inexperienced. What build do you use for your weapon, ThorienKELL?

You can use radiation /viral if you prefer. pressure point, life strike, fury and bezerker. Don't use spoiled strike. This combination comes out fast and bezerker is up in no time. Oh yes, sword like weapon, nikana, destrezza, because of passive. i use prisma skana purely out of style and excal never has to truly melee, with his amazing 1 and 4. EDIT: disregard buzzkill. Was mistakenly reading entry for slash dash today. Edited March 22, 2016 by ThorienKELL
0 S0V3REiGN
buzzkill is totally not worth it on exalted blade since it has an even split between the 3 base damage types. I even tried maxed primed heavy trauma and that is also still bad.
0 Voidforged
Yeah, can't really see Buzz Kill being worth the slot. Fury/Berserker/Life Strike/Pressure Point/Shocking Touch/Fever Strike/North Wind and last slot which I can't decide on.
0 S0V3REiGN
I think spoiled strike wil give you the most bang for your buck on that setup. The -20 speed lose is easily made up by fury.
0 Old.Gregg
I'm not an expert but I'd thought I would share what I run, Excal is my favorite frame. http://warframe-builder.com/Warframes/Builder/Excalibur/t_30_2220443320_2-4-10-5-3-5-6-0-5-37-8-5-55-7-5-57-5-5-59-2-3-411-1-10-481-6-9-612-9-5_6-6-411-8-59-5-5-9-2-6-57-8-481-7-55-6-37-5-612-9_15/en/1-0-5 General Purpose Build: Run with Zenruik Focus for 4 energy per sec. Abilites: Spam radial blind for protection and finishers. Exalted blade works up to about level 70 enemies. (best used with atk spd, chc, chd mod build and spam slide attack to dodge enemy fire with blind) Use slash dash to escape tough situations and move across the map FASTTTTTT!!!. Radial Javelin can be used too stun enemies and kill low level mods but otherwise useless at higher levels. http://warframe-builder.com/Warframes/Builder/Excalibur/t_30_2220443320_3-8-5-4-5-5-6-0-5-12-2-10-46-4-5-55-7-5-256-3-3-411-1-10-481-6-9-615-9-5_6-6-411-8-12-8-256-9-46-6-4-11-481-7-55-6-3-18-615-9_15/en/1-0-5 Radial Javelin Build: Run with Zenruik Focus for 4 energy per second. Abilites: Spam radial javelin obv. http://warframe-builder.com/Warframes/Builder/Excalibur/t_30_2220443320_5-7-5-6-1-5-34-8-5-46-5-5-57-4-5-59-0-3-479-2-10-481-6-9-524-3-3-612-9-5_59-5-6-6-479-7-524-9-57-8-46-6-481-7-5-5-34-5-612-9_15/en/1-0-5 Survival Build: (I would run radiant finish for 300% finisher dmg instead of steel fiber but i do not have it atm) Run with Naramon focus to survive better. Naramon: Use a good crit melee, I prefer Obex with Brutal Tide because it is fun to use but any other crit works too. Also karyst can be used with covert lethality mod for confirmed kill. hit one enemy every 12 seconds to stay invis 100% of the time. use melee AOE combo if applicable to knock down tough mofo's for on the floor finisher. Use Radial Blind to keep enemies open for finishers. Scales insanely high into hours of play. Also input on my load outs is always welcome :)

You're right, was changing that slot today, mistakenly reading description for slash dash, who indeed does 70% slash damage, back to 4 elementals then. 4 minutes ago, S0V3REiGN said: I think spoiled strike wil give you the most bang for your buck on that setup. I used to use spoiled strike often but now I came to conclusion this mod is worth it only in very, very fast weapons. Winding up berserker faster, equals more crits, more invisibility and I would bet more damage, not only sooner but overall. I advise strongly against spoiled strike. 0 S0V3REiGN
Truth is I don't like spoiled strike on melee builds. After doing some tests on EB it seems that the pure 4 elemental build yields the best results which naturally spoiled strike makes sense slotting in. At the end of the day everyone has their own preference. Edited March 22, 2016 by S0V3REiGN
